New Channels!

SkyCable introduces seven brand new channels that offer top-notch programming for everyone. Catch them starting Jan 1 2008!

1. Balls (channel 34) showcases a comprehensive mix of sporting events and tournaments, as well as sports magazine shows and the best extreme sports.


2. Fans of supernatural TV will be thrilled with the introduction of AXN Beyond (channel 35), a spin-off of the highly popular action adventure channel, AXN. With pumped-up programming like the latest series of cult favorites "Lost" and "Supernatural", as well as new shows like "The Dresden Files" and "Painkiller Jane", AXN Beyond will surely provide a viewing experience like no other.



3. Children of all ages will find a new favorite in KidsCo (channel 38 on SkyCable Gold), the newest kids channel from Hallmark. With the latest season of well-loved cartoons (Madeline and Rolie, Polie, Olie) as well as full-length family features (Alice in Wonderland, Merlin), KidsCo is sure to become the newest, safest destination for kids.


4. FoxCrime (channel 50) will treat crime and suspense fans with the Asian premieres of highly anticipated hit series "Dexter" and "Brotherhood", as well as other spine-chilling and action-packed shows like "Parco PI" and "Texas SWAT".



5. Maxxx (channel 51) forays into the mind of today's modern man with shows that spell action, pleasure and one-of-a-kind entertainment. With shows like "Destination X", "Bullrun" and "American Inventor", Maxxx is sure to be a hit among mature male audiences.



6. Discriminating women who crave for total entertainment can catch Velvet on channel 53. It's packed with must-see talk shows (The View and Good Morning America), drama series (Dirt and Huff) and reality TV (I Want to be a Hilton, Gay Straight or Taken).



7. The Asian Food Channel (AFC) on channel 58 is a 24x7 food and lifestyle channel with shows not just on food and cooking but also on travel and personalities.





Old Favorites, New Homes!
Popular channels we’ve all grown to love continue to bring us the same high quality shows, just at a different channel slot!

1. Mystery and suspense fans will surely be pleased to know that Crime/Suspense moves to free-to-air channel 14, replacing RPN 9.
Note: Some shows on RPN 9 will continue to air, specifically the news and current affairs programs (morning magazine show, primetime news and late night news).


2. Popular general entertainment channels ETC and Second Ave also move to free-to-air channels 16 and 19, respectively. They will replace SBN 21 and RJTV 29.
Note: Two shows from RJTV will continue to air on Second Ave (Music Concert and RJ's Talk Show).

3. Lifestyle Network, the authority on fashion and the good life, moves to its new home on channel 52.

The best move of all – a happy surprise for kids and the whole family!

Disney Channel moves to channel 47 and becomes available to both SkyCable Silver and Gold subscribers! This results to an unbeatable kids block that children will surely have a blast watching and parents will surely appreciate.



Good news for NBA and wrestling fans!

Catch your favorite NBA games on ABC 5 (channel 10), C/S (channel 14), ESPN (channel 31) and Star Sports (channel 32). Wrestling fans are also in for a special treat as ABC 5 broadcasts WWE Smackdown and Raw.
